- Conducted a comprehensive vulnerability analysis of inkjet printers, focusing on risks from third-party ink cartridges, and initiated advanced firmware decompression and JTAG exploration to identify deeper security flaws.
- Reverse engineered firmware by enabling the UART interface via hardware modification and dumping SPI flash memory, which revealed the use of VxWorks RTOS, custom compression, and missing integrity checks.
